Assessment and treatment

Each child is given an individual programme of assessment and treatment. This includes a comprehensive range of psychiatric and psychological assessments, individual and group-based therapies, and medication if required.

Families are expected to attend family therapy sessions. Parenting and support groups are also available.

Collingham provides a therapeutic milieu where children’s strengths and capacity for change are recognised and encouraged. Staff are available at all times to support children in managing their difficulties.
